Biosafety Ethical Framework
Ethical Framework
Our biological intervention in the planet's oceans and lands carries immense responsibility.
Zero Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)
Deep Sea Genomic strictly does not introduce artificial mutations or genetically modified strains into the wild. All our bioremediation processes involve the bioprospecting and natural multiplication of extremophile microorganisms that already inherently exist in our planet's troposphere or oceanic depths.
Ecological Neutrality
Our criteria for success are not based solely on the reduction of the target chemical or hydrocarbon, but on the "Bio-Toxicity" rate. We rigorously ensure, through secondary metabolite analysis, that the byproducts generated by our biomass do not alter local flora and fauna in the medium term.
Consortia Transparency
Under strict Institutional Non-Disclosure Agreements, we provide the microbiome catalog to the regulatory bodies of the governments where we operate to ensure traceability.
